This article outlines how to troubleshoot and resolve the error "Server’s security certificate is not from trusted certifying authority" that may appear during the prerequisite check when installing WiSys Agility Software.
This error indicates that the server’s SSL certificate is not trusted by the machine or environment running Agility. The certificate must be registered as a trusted entity in the operating system's Certificate Manager.

Resolution Steps

Export the Certificate:
- Open a browser on the server where Agility is being set up.
- Navigate to the SAP B1 System Landscape site (or equivalent):
https://[YOURSERVER]:40000/ExtensionManager/ - You will likely see “Not Secure” in the browser’s address bar. Click on it and choose “View Certificate.”

Save the Certificate:
- In the certificate details, use the “Export” function to save the certificate to your desktop.

Add to Trusted Root Store:
- Double-click the saved certificate file.
- Choose “Install Certificate.”
- When prompted, select “Local Machine” and then choose “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” as the destination store.

- After installing the certificate, restart any relevant services or retry the connection test in Agility Product Updater or Prerequisite Checker.
